We are looking for someone to help our retail partner leverage campaign analytics to better understand campaign performance and in turn, enhance the media planning process.

We have an onsite team of 13 currently working with our retail client, and we have big plans to expand over the next 12 months! It’s the largest onsite team at IRI outside of our headquarters in the US.

Your responsibilities:

You will have the opportunity to work with an unparalleled array of datasets (scan, market read, shopper panel and customer data) all encompassed on IRI’s proprietary platform. Using the latest technology in the industry, you will help shape and deliver how data, insights and technology is used to drive growth across the FMCG landscape.

You will become a trusted business partner to the retail client by providing valuable market insights that will further support their business goals. Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, you will ensure excellence in the service provided to the clients Media team.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Use the Unify platform to mine the required data, apply appropriate statistical principles to interpret the data, and provide analyses to identify patterns or trends to answer the business question
  • Interpret post-campaign reports and provide a written summary of the campaign insights and any key implications
  • Present campaign performance in supplier-facing meetings in conjunction with the Retailers category and sales team
  • Leverage platform analytics to support the client Media campaign team to build targeting strategy (i.e. create customized customer segments)
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with client Media stakeholders
  • Ensure the delivery of quality and timely data, reporting, analytics, consulting, and other deliverables
  • Refine and improve analytical processes

We’re looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business or similar
  • 2-5 years’ experience in media insights within a media or FMCG market research agency
  • Strong understanding of media measurement, consumer segmentation, scan or shopper data
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to execute the plan
